Our AQS-2 leak tester with dual-core processor sets a new standard for “trimmer mount” leak testers. Specifically designed for the de-flash trimmer on reciprocating screw machines this new system has a number of unique features you will not find in any other make of tester. This system is reliable, easy to set, and of course like all our testers have auto-calibration as standard. The 80+ I/O built in as standard means our controller can connect directly to collating tables, weigh scales, multiple heads etc.Is our AQS-2 the only leak tester using 'Dual-Core' processor technology?
As it usually takes our competitors a few months to catch-up after we make a new product announcement, it's quite possible that our AQS-2 is still ahead in technology. Why the need for speed? Simple - more speed, more features, more accuracy, and the possibility of adding some really neat ideas - such as multiple sensors cross-checking each other. By having 2 (or more) pressure transducers measuring the container's pressure a more accurate measurement is obtained, but more importantly the difference in the two transducers are compared. Normally there should be virtually no difference but if either transducer drifts then an alarm can by raised. This self-checking is particularly important in critical applications such as 'UN' (DOT) approved containers.
What
is so clever about this leak tester?
- Dual-core processor controls analogue processing and logic sequence SIMULTANEOUSLY so there is no degradation in sensitivity at high speeds.
- Our “Head Detect System”® senses how many test heads are connected and automatically configures itself. The same control box works with 1 to 4 heads without anysoftware or hardware changes. Reduces spares as one version fits all trimmers.

Seamless link to Excel for graphing and analysis
Our optional 'SD' memory card stores all test results, container weight, with time and date. The file will open directly with Excel for graphing and other analysis. Of course there is a lot more to a leak tester than a dual core processor with tons of spare I/O - no-tools set up, solid photo cell bracketry and stainless steel conveyors are standard.
