Modern Servo and Proportional valves are much more reliable and less dirt sensitive than ever before - partly because the valves are better, but also due to the improvements to filtration technology and a greater awareness of the importance of maintaining the filter system. We recommend MP Filtri UK for all hydraulic filter applications. We can also offer advice on how you can improve your machines reliability by upgrading the existing filtration system. Our servo valve repair service is primarily geared to servicing Moog valves, but there are certain models of Rexroth servo that we can also service - please contact us with the model number.
Rexroth '4WS' series
We stock the Moog '631' series valves in all 5 standard flow rates. These are one of the best servo valves for all parison programming systems. They are generally interchangeable with the Rexroth '4WS' series.
Our valve test box is ideal for quickly checking the valve thus reducing breakdown time to an absolute minimum. We also stock a full range of Moog '62' series valves which are also popular on parison programming systems. We have a limited stock of Moog valves for mould, carriage and push-out speed as there are literally hundreds of different models.
Moog proportional valves and Moog servo valves are fitted to many of the leading injection moulding machines.
For a good reason - they have been proven to give the best control of injection speed, holding pressure and screw-back pressure. Properly looked after they will give a liftime of repeatable, accurate control which will enable you to produce the highest quality mouldings. Repeatable injection speed is essential to reduce the possibility of short shots and flashed mouldings. Holding pressure variation can lead to excessive built in stress, and variations in screwback pressure can simply give rise to a host of moulding problems. We understand what the Moog valve does on your machine so we know what to look for on our repair bench. Our experience can also help prevent recurring problems by looking at the cause of the problem, not just repairing the faulty valve!
Moog“631” series
The Moog“631” series are available in 6 flow rates from 5lt/min up to 80lt/min. This makes it ideal for the smallest to the largest blow moulding machines. BMC always have a good stock of new and refurbished valve available for same day dispatch M repeatable control. Once upon a time servo valves were very expensive and very dirt sensitive. This all changed when Moog introduced the “631” series. Using new production techniques Moog were able to reduce the cost, and larger nozzles and orifices reduced dirt sensitivity. Moog are still at the forefront of machine control by being the largest supplier of high performance electrical servo drives for the new “all electric” blow moulding machines.
